Use the work envelope you actually need

A larger router creates value only when the normal sheets or parts need a larger envelope. When recurring work stays inside 600 × 900 mm, the K6090T reduces floor-space demand while keeping a welded steel frame, a dedicated spindle, controlled XYZ movement and an offline industrial controller.

Ball screws on all three linear axes support engraving, profiling, drilling, grooving and pocketing. The DSP A11 file process lets the operator run prepared files without keeping a computer connected during machining.

Structure and manufacturing logic

Compact frame, three-axis routing and offline control

The welded steel frame supports the compact moving system and fixed worktable. The gantry-mounted water-cooled spindle approaches the part from the top face, while the XYZ ball screws move the cutter through the programmed path.

The DSP A11 receives the prepared machining file through an offline file process. Your CAD/CAM software must generate a suitable toolpath and G-code, and Quick CNC confirms the required post-processor before order completion.

The included tool sensor supports the approved tool-setting procedure. Safe origin setting, fixture clearance and program verification remain part of operator setup.

Match the cutter and workholding to MDF, wood or acrylic

A suitable process combines the machine with the correct cutter, chip load, spindle speed, feed, depth of cut, clamping and chip evacuation.

MDF and wood panels

Carbide end mills are a practical general-purpose choice. Compression bits can help control the top and bottom edge on suitable laminated or veneered panels when the tool diameter, cutting depth and machine setup match the job.

Typical work: panel cutting, cabinet prototypes, small cabinet components and custom furniture parts.

Acrylic parts

A single-flute acrylic bit is commonly selected to improve chip evacuation and support a cleaner edge. Final edge quality still depends on cutter condition, feed, spindle speed, clamping and chip removal.

Typical work: signs, displays, letters and customized decorative parts.

  • Keep clamps outside the toolpath and verify clearance.
  • Support small parts so they cannot move during through-cutting.
  • Use effective extraction for wood, MDF, plastics and composite dust or chips.
  • Treat selected soft-aluminum work as a controlled application requiring the correct alloy, cutter, lubrication or air/mist strategy and chip removal.
