Two Separate Z Axes
The two spindle heads move on separate Z axes. Fit the same cutter in both heads for matched operations on two parts, raise one head when only one cutter is needed, or plan two main tools into the process where the selected control setup supports the sequence.
If one part routinely needs several automatic tool changes, an ATC router is usually the cleaner solution. If dense connector drilling or horizontal holes dominate the work, use a drilling-focused machine instead.

Structure and Workholding
K45MT-DT combines rack-and-pinion X/Y motion, ball-screw Z movement, square linear guides and a vacuum T-slot table. Vacuum supports flat sheet work while the T-slots provide another route for clamps or fixtures when vacuum alone is not enough.
The defining feature is the pair of spindle assemblies on separate Z axes. An unused head can move clear of the cutting zone, while matched part layouts can use both heads for planned parallel operations.
For MDF, plywood and other wood-based panels, plan dust extraction together with spoilboard condition, vacuum zoning and sealing.

Configuration
Confirm the largest part, repeated-part spacing, mirrored layouts and whether both heads can stay useful in the normal batch.
List the tools used in one cycle. Different-tool or asynchronous behavior must be matched to the selected control setup before order confirmation.
Confirm voltage, phase, frequency, dust extraction, vacuum requirements, loading space and service access before production starts.
Process Setup
Compression cutters are common starting points for laminated panels, spiral carbide tools for solid wood and O-flute cutters for acrylic and plastics. Final tooling follows the material, edge finish, cutting depth and part geometry.
Vacuum works best on flat sheet material with a prepared spoilboard and controlled open zones. Small parts, porous boards, narrow strips and cut-through profiles may need zoning, gasketing, tabs, onion-skin passes, tape, clamps or a dedicated fixture.
Soft aluminum remains a conditional application. Send the alloy, thickness, depth per pass and finish requirement so tooling, hold-down, chip removal and air-blast or lubrication needs can be reviewed with a representative sample test.
Quality Control
Every Quick CNC machine is assembled, inspected and tested before shipment. Production control includes component, assembly, electrical, running and packing checks. Quick CNC also uses CMM, laser interferometer and Ballbar methods across its quality system where applicable.
For K45MT-DT, the exact test combination, running duration, sample work and acceptance points follow the final configuration and order requirements. Numerical performance results are published only when a traceable test record supports them.

Repeated Door and Panel Work
Place two matched door inserts or cabinet components within the usable table area and fit the same cutter in both heads. When the part spacing and toolpath support the layout, the machine can perform the planned operation on both parts during the same machine cycle.
A second tool can remain prepared in the other head for a later operation where the selected control setup supports that sequence. If the product mix changes constantly or each part needs many cutters, the advantage drops and ATC becomes more practical.
The correct decision comes from one representative drawing, the normal tool list and real batch quantity—not spindle count alone.
