Quick CNC Mini CNC Router

K6090T Mini 6090 CNC Router for Woodworking

Compact 600 × 900 mm routing capacity for signs, prototypes, wood crafts, acrylic parts and small-format production.

600 × 900 × 150 mm2.2 kW Water-Cooled SpindleBall-Screw MovementDSP A11 Control

Quick CNC recommends the K6090T when your parts fit the working envelope and most programs use one tool from start to finish. For full-sheet work, frequent tool changes or heavy metal removal, we will propose a more suitable configuration instead.

Buyer, Material And Application Fit

Choose K6090T for compact work—not full-sheet production

Strong fit

  • Sign and display workshops processing acrylic, PVC, foam, MDF and wood.
  • Prototype teams, craft shops, small woodworking businesses and training labs.
  • Jigs, fixtures, samples, reliefs, instrument parts and short-run custom work.
  • Furniture or door factories making small components, samples and decorative inserts.

Choose another Quick CNC machine

  • Full 4×8 sheet nesting, cabinet lines or automatic loading/unloading.
  • Programs that regularly need several automatic tool changes.
  • Complete door production or high-volume batch cutting.
  • Steel, stone, heavy aluminum removal or machining-center-level tolerances.
Core Production Solution

A practical 600 × 900 CNC router for varied small-format jobs

A small workshop often needs more usable capacity than a hobby router without committing floor space and budget to a full-size production machine.

01

Engrave

Detailed text, logos, decorative patterns, reliefs and craft products.

02

Cut & Profile

Wood, MDF, plywood, acrylic, PVC, plastic, foam and selected composites.

03

Drill & Groove

Small components, templates, jigs, fixtures and prototype parts.

04

Run Offline

Prepare the CNC file in CAD/CAM, then execute it through the DSP A11 workflow.

Suitable And Unsuitable Scope

Material capability depends on tooling, holding and evacuation

Primary materials

Solid wood, MDF, plywood, acrylic, PVC, plastics and foam are normal positioning materials when the cutter, feed, workholding and dust/chip control are suitable.

Conditional materials

Particle board, melamine, aluminum composite panel and other composites require an edge-quality and clamping plan. Soft aluminum requires engineering review and sample validation.

Not recommended

Do not select K6090T for steel, stainless steel, stone, heavy metal removal, full-sheet nesting or unattended dusty production.

Structure And Operating Workflow

Machine features connected to real production decisions

K6090T 2.2 kW water-cooled spindle and gantry illustration

2.2 kW water-cooled spindle

The standard spindle supports the model's wood, acrylic, plastic and prototype role. Quick CNC will recommend cutter geometry, diameter, spindle range, feed and pass depth from your material and finish target.

Ball-screw movement

The model source lists ball-screw movement on X, Y and Z. Accurate finished parts still require a sound toolpath, sharp tooling, secure holding and a defined measurement method.

K6090T T-slot worktable and mechanical clamping illustration

T-slot table and mechanical clamping

The T-slot table supports clamps, fixtures and sacrificial boards. Thin sheet, small parts and cut-through jobs need a workholding plan that prevents movement and protects the table.

DSP A11 offline workflow

The handheld controller runs prepared files without keeping a computer attached during machining. Quick CNC can support post-processor confirmation, origin setting, tool-length procedure and operator training.

Configuration Selection

Match the machine to workpiece size and tool-change frequency

Standard K6090T

Best when compact parts fit the table and one tool completes most programs.

4th-Axis Option

Consider only after confirming diameter, length, weight, chucking and rotary toolpath.

K6090ATC

Compare a separately quoted ATC option when programs regularly need several tools.

1212 / 1325

Move to a larger router when workpieces exceed 600 × 900 mm or full sheets must be processed.

Customization Capability

Quick CNC configures the order around the confirmed project

We can configure confirmed electrical scope, rotary work, workholding accessories, dust/chip interfaces, cutter packages, training and service planning after engineering and commercial review.

Send project data

Drawing, material, thickness, workpiece size, tool count, output and destination.

Engineering match

We check fit, unsuitable requirements, process route, holding and utility needs.

Sample decision

We arrange a sample test when material, finish, aluminum or tolerance is sensitive.

Final quotation

Quick CNC prepares the confirmed BOM, commercial scope, lead time and service plan.

Process, Tooling, Workholding And Sample Test

Validate the complete machining process—not only spindle power

Information we need

  • Drawing, DXF/DWG or 3D model
  • Material grade and thickness
  • Blank and finished-part size
  • Cut depth and finish target
  • Tolerance and measurement method
  • Tool count and batch quantity
  • Fixture or clamping constraints
  • CAD/CAM and post-processor
  • Dust or chip evacuation plan
  • Workshop voltage and destination

What Quick CNC can prepare

We can propose the cutter, collet, spindle range, feed strategy, pass depth, workholding and evacuation approach. When a sample is needed, its result applies only to the tested material, tool, program, holding and measurement method.

Soft aluminum is a conditional process. Heavy metal removal and tight-tolerance production metal parts require a different machine class.

Send us your drawing before you select options

Quick CNC will identify fit, reject unsuitable requirements and prepare a configuration and sample-validation plan.

Engineering Application Scenario

Example decision path for a sign and prototype workshop

A workshop processes acrylic letters, PVC display parts, MDF templates and small wood panels. Its largest blank fits the 600 × 900 mm table, most programs use one cutter and daily work changes frequently.

Quick CNC would start with the standard K6090T, confirm dust extraction, specify acrylic and wood cutters, review the CAM post-processor and request a representative sample file.

When the recommendation changes

If the same workshop begins using several tools in every program, we would compare the K6090ATC rather than presenting manual tool changes as the best long-term solution.

This is an engineering scenario, not a published customer case or claimed production result.

Frequently Asked Questions

K6090T 6090 CNC router FAQ

What is the K6090T working area?

The confirmed X-Y-Z working area is 600 × 900 × 150 mm.

Can the K6090T cut acrylic?

Yes. Quick CNC will match cutter, speed, feed, chip evacuation and workholding to the sheet and finish requirement.

Can it machine aluminum?

Only light-duty soft-aluminum work should be considered after alloy, thickness, tolerance, finish, tooling, holding and chip/cooling review.

Does it need a computer during cutting?

The DSP A11 supports offline job execution. CAD/CAM software is still needed to create the toolpath, and the post-processor must be confirmed.

Is automatic tool changing standard?

No. The standard K6090T is non-ATC. Compare K6090ATC or another ATC model for frequent multi-tool programs.

Can I add a rotary axis?

A 4th-axis option is available subject to diameter, length, weight, chucking and toolpath confirmation.

Is it suitable for cabinet production?

It can make samples, jigs and small components that fit the table, but it is not the primary machine for full-sheet nesting or high-volume cabinet production.

What dust collection is required?

Wood, MDF and composite machining requires effective industrial dust extraction. Share the material mix and collector details so Quick CNC can confirm the interface.

What information is needed for a quote?

Send the drawing, material, thickness, largest workpiece, process, tool count, output target, voltage, destination and any rotary or aluminum requirement.

What software can I use?

Use CAD/CAM software that can generate a compatible CNC program. Quick CNC will confirm the exact post-processor and file workflow; the page does not promise a software license.
