Best-fit buyers
Furniture, cabinet-door, decorative-panel, sign, custom woodworking and CNC service factories running repeat batches.
K45MT-DT · Double Spindle · Two Z Axes
Use two spindles and two Z axes for matched, mirrored or repeated woodworking jobs—without paying for a tool magazine your process may not need. Quick CNC configures K45MT-DT around your drawing, material, head spacing, tooling, workholding and output target.

Buyer fit
The strongest projects use repeat parts, mirrored components or paired relief patterns with compatible tools and secure workholding.
Furniture, cabinet-door, decorative-panel, sign, custom woodworking and CNC service factories running repeat batches.
Solid wood, MDF, plywood, particle board, melamine board, acrylic, rigid PVC, plastics, foam and suitable composites.
Top-side profiling, grooving, pocketing, spindle drilling, engraving, sheet cutting and 2.5D relief carving.
Core solution
K45MT-DT uses two spindle assemblies on two Z axes. Both heads can process suitably spaced matching or mirrored parts. One head can be used for a unique or oversized job. An approved control upgrade may support alternating head use with different tools or operations.
The upgrade is not a true ATC tool magazine. When several tools are called automatically in every normal program, Quick CNC will recommend a real ATC router.

Selection boundary
| We recommend K45MT-DT when | We recommend another solution when |
|---|---|
| Two identical or mirrored parts can be machined together. | Jobs are mainly one-off and one head remains idle. |
| Relief panels, doors or components repeat in stable batches. | Every program needs many automatic tool changes. |
| Both heads can use compatible cutters and origins. | Different independent toolpaths are required without the approved upgrade. |
| Flat sheets or fixtured parts can be held securely. | Dense horizontal drilling or six-side processing dominates. |
| Manual loading and unloading fit the production plan. | Automatic labeling, loading and unloading are required. |
| Top-side 3-axis access is sufficient. | Undercuts or simultaneous multi-axis work are required. |

Structure and process
Quick CNC checks the welded bed and gantry, guide installation, rack alignment, ball-screw movement, spindle mounting, head spacing, table flatness and controller motion. Each Z assembly has its own ball-screw drive.
A tool-length or mounting difference can create a mismatch between paired parts even when the toolpath is identical. The first paired components should be checked before a repeat batch continues.

Configuration decisions
Use DSP A11 for approved paired or single-head programs. Choose the upgrade only after Quick CNC reviews the alternating-head tool sequence. Select true ATC when many tools are used automatically.
Use vacuum for flat, sealed sheets. Use T-slot clamps, tabs, onion skin or fixtures for porous, warped, narrow, released or small parts.
Quick CNC confirms cutter diameter, collet, spindle speed, feed, depth per pass, dust/chip removal and finish from the real material and drawing.
Send measured voltage, phase, frequency, grounding and available power. We confirm transformer, component and documentation scope before production.
Customization
Quick CNC can review working-size, spindle, controller, table, electrical and head-layout changes. Send the largest raw sheet, smallest important part, required head spacing, tool list, output target and utilities. We will identify which changes fit K45MT-DT and when another machine family is safer.
Tooling, holding and sample validation
Use sharp cutters, controlled chip load and effective extraction. Test decorative veneer or laminate edges on the real board.
Control heat, melting, static debris, fumes and edge chipping with the correct tool, feed, ventilation and holding.
Conditional only. Quick CNC checks construction/alloy, cutter, fixture, chip removal, burr expectation, tolerance and pass strategy.
Testing, QC and documents
Quick CNC checks assembly, electrical functions, axis movement, controller and limits, spindle operation, table/vacuum function, lubrication, program run and order-specific options. Additional acceptance items can include head alignment, travel, repeatability, sample machining or buyer-defined inspection.
We confirm the document scope required for the supplied configuration and destination before order release. A certificate is not presented as evidence of cutting performance.

Machine selection
| Requirement | Quick CNC direction | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| One cutter or limited manual changes | K45MT single-spindle router | Lower complexity when a second head will not be used. |
| Two matching or mirrored parts in repeat batches | K45MT-DT | Two Z axes and two spindles support paired production. |
| Many automatic tool calls per program | 3-axis ATC CNC router | A true magazine controls repeated tool changes. |
| Dense connector holes | PTP or six-side drilling | Dedicated drilling architecture is more suitable. |
| Automatic handling and labeling | Nesting production cell | Material flow and software integration become central. |
A door or decorative-panel factory can place two repeat blanks within the approved spacing, use the same cutter, origin and toolpath, and verify the first paired components before continuing the batch. Quick CNC calculates the real cycle from the drawing, relief depth, roughing/finishing plan, loading and inspection method.
Commercial terms
Confirmed in the quotation according to the standard or custom configuration and number of machines required.
Approximately 45 days after deposit and technical confirmation for a standard machine. Shipping is separate.
Packing method, dimensions, weight, container plan, Incoterm, insurance, customs and unloading follow the released order documents.
Installation, warranty and support
Quick CNC provides manuals, operation videos, remote installation guidance, online training, maintenance guidance, troubleshooting and spare-parts identification. Paid on-site service can be arranged by agreement.
The standard machine warranty is one year from receipt, subject to remote diagnosis, normal-use conditions and signed order terms. Wearing parts, misuse, poor maintenance, unauthorized modification, collision and site-power problems are excluded from standard coverage.
FAQ
Yes, when two suitably spaced workpieces use compatible tools, origins and toolpaths. Quick CNC checks the layout and holding before confirming paired processing.
An approved control-system upgrade may support alternating head use with different tools or operations. This is not the same as a true ATC tool magazine.
No fixed multiplier should be promised. Output depends on head utilization and the complete loading, machining, tool-setting, unloading and inspection cycle.
Light soft-aluminum routing is conditional on engineering review of alloy, thickness, fixture, tool, chip removal, tolerance and finish, followed by representative validation where required.
Choose K45MT-DT for repeat paired parts with a limited tool sequence. Choose a true ATC router when several tools are called automatically in each normal program.
Next step
Send one representative drawing plus material, batch quantity, tools per program and factory voltage. Quick CNC will recommend the head mode, workholding, tooling direction, control option and sample-test plan, then prepare the quotation.
