UD-481 LINEAR ATC CNC ROUTER
We configure the UD-481 as a multi-process woodworking solution built around a 1300 × 2500 × 300 mm working envelope, an 8-tool linear magazine and the referenced 9 kW HSD, Yaskawa and Syntec 6MA package.
Share your materials, tool sequence and fixture height. Our sales and engineering team will match the spindle, vacuum, tooling and site requirements to your production before quotation.

We help you choose between UD-481 and UE-481 by matching tool count, usable clearance and component requirements to your real program.
| Production requirement | UD-481 solution | UE-481 solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tools in a normal program | Up to eight tools cover the sequence. | More than eight tools are regularly required. |
| Working envelope | 1300 × 2500 × 300 mm reference. | 1220 × 2440 × 200 mm on the current UE page. |
| Main reason to buy | Greater Z travel and the referenced HSD/Yaskawa/Syntec 6MA package. | 12-tool capacity for a larger prepared tool set. |
| Reject when | Eight positions are not enough or the job needs drill-bank/line automation. | 200 mm Z is not enough after fixture and tool clearance are counted. |
We recommend UD-481 for workshops that use several tools in one program and want to reduce manual changes without moving to a full nesting line.
Cabinet doors, custom furniture, carved panels, stair and furniture parts, signage, acrylic and mixed low-to-medium batches.
Send us one representative program or tool list. We will confirm whether eight prepared tools are enough and recommend the holder package.
We will direct you to another configuration for automatic loading, labeling, drill-bank-led cabinet work, six-side machining, heavy metal removal or more than eight required tools.
We use these reference values as the starting point for your solution. Final electrical, vacuum, layout and commercial scope follow the quotation and technical agreement.

Every option must solve a real production constraint. A longer specification sheet is not automatically a better machine.
Best suited to: programs that use four to eight prepared tools.
We recommend another magazine when: more than eight tools are regularly required or long tools and fixtures create clearance risk.
Best suited to: flat sheets with enough sealing area.
We add mechanical holding or another table strategy when: parts are small, porous, warped or exposed to higher cutting force.
We match it to: material, tool diameter, pass depth, duty cycle and speed range.
Spindle power alone does not prove: rigidity, finish, tolerance or heavy-metal capability.
We add it when: cylindrical or indexed parts can be held safely by the confirmed fixture.
We omit it when: flat-sheet work does not need rotation or the job requires true simultaneous four-axis access.
The machine can support several material groups, but the tool, holding, evacuation and sample-test method must change with the job.

MDF, plywood, particle board, laminated panels, doors and furniture parts fit when the panel is flat, tooling matches the face/core and dust collection is effective. Test the smallest part and the first production panel.
Use sharp tooling, secure holding and material-specific chip/fume control. Test exact grade, thickness and edge requirement; one setting cannot guarantee a polished edge on every sheet.
The 300 mm Z travel can help with thicker models, but usable clearance and long-tool stability must be checked against the fixture and surface requirement.
Light routing requires rigid fixturing, dedicated low-flute tooling, chip evacuation and approved air blast or lubrication. Do not use UD-481 for steel, heavy removal or machining-center-level tolerance.
The value of the configuration appears only when the component package, program and process conditions match.

Our engineering team verifies the frame, transmission, calibration, tooling, workholding and program as one complete process. Send one real file when postprocessor compatibility or complex tool calling is critical.

See how the UD-481 is arranged and operated. We use your final component list and approved test plan—not video alone—to define the delivered solution.
We confirm destination voltage, phase, frequency, breaker, cable, grounding, transformer need and final compressed-air requirement in the delivered electrical drawing.
Size dust collection for the material and duct layout. Select the vacuum package from material porosity, smallest part, spoilboard and open table area—not from one pump number.
We confirm the CAM version, license responsibility, Syntec-compatible postprocessor, USB or network method and one real file before order lock.
Need a different working size, safety cover or process package? We can build a tailored solution through our custom CNC configuration service.
We assemble, inspect and test every machine before shipment. Our product-series framework includes CMM, laser interferometer, Ballbar and 24–72-hour continuous-operation testing. Exact UD-481 methods and results follow its approved plan and traceable records.
We provide a standard production lead time of 45 days, excluding ocean freight. Standard warranty is one year from buyer receipt; exact coverage, exclusions and service responsibilities follow the final signed agreement. Manuals, videos, remote guidance and online training are available, and paid on-site service may be arranged.

Not in every job. We recommend UD-481 when 300 mm Z travel and its referenced HSD, Yaskawa and Syntec configuration matter and eight tools are enough. We recommend UE-481 when more than eight tools are regularly required and its working envelope fits the job.
Yes, when the representative program uses no more than eight prepared tools. Send us the tool list and program sequence, and we will confirm the right magazine and holder package.
We evaluate part area, material porosity, spoilboard condition, open table area, cut-through sequence and cutting force. When retention is a buying risk, we recommend a smallest-part sample test and the appropriate workholding solution.
We can configure UD-481 for light routing of confirmed soft aluminum with rigid holding, dedicated tooling, chip evacuation and approved lubrication or air blast. It is not a steel machine or a substitute for a metal machining center.
No. Usable clearance is reduced by the spoilboard, fixture, tool length, spindle nose, dust hood and safe retract height. Send us the part and fixture drawing, and our team will calculate the required clearance.
We define an approved pre-shipment test plan covering ATC, vacuum, electrical and grounding, continuous running and representative material cutting. Measured accuracy or output claims are supported by traceable model- or machine-specific evidence.
Tell us the material, largest part, fixture height, smallest part and program tool list. We will recommend the right UD-481 configuration—or a better-fit Quick CNC solution—before you place the order.
Tell us your material, working size and production needs. Our engineers will recommend a suitable CNC machine for your business.
