Maximum rapid and cutting-feed values are machine ratings. We set the real machining feed from the material, cutter, depth of cut, toolpath, workholding, extraction and required surface finish. We build the UA-481 around a heavy-duty steel machine bed and temper the frame to reduce residual welding stress. This gives the machine a more stable structural base for repeated cabinet, furniture and panel machining.
The 30 mm square linear guides, rack-and-pinion X/Y drive and ball-screw Z axis are matched to the full-size working envelope. We then complete machine calibration, motion checks and production setup around the ordered configuration.

The UA-481 uses a double-layer vacuum table for full-sheet and panel work, while the X/Y positioning pins help operators locate repeat sheets before machining.
Large MDF, plywood and furniture panels are straightforward to hold when the spoilboard, sealing zones and vacuum supply are set correctly. Small, porous, warped or heavily cut-through parts may need tabs, clamps or a dedicated fixture.
